I'm a bit sleepy because I stay up late watching the comedy drama "Glee".

You should know so much about, and I think we need to add the words. :)

Actually this is my first ever drama which is continued as second, 3rd and more seaon.  I don't know why I did not see these kind of foreign drama, but I love Glee because of some reasons.

1st thing why I love this drama is because I love the musicals.  I love the "Lion King" and "Phantom of the Opera" which are performed by Gekidan-Shiki in Japan.  I was overwhelmed by their performane, and I want to go to see "Lion King" again with my little kid sometime in future.

2nd thing is about special sound effect in every scene of their performance.  Love rysmical and upbeat sound effect.

And of couse the story and characters, Kurt the gay boy, but performed extremely well as Football Kicker of their high schook team is interesting guy.

There will be days of lack of sleep for a while hehe...

We had a birthday party for my kid this weekend!

My wife bought special cake for him, and she cooked Gratin because that is my son's favorite an he loves her Gratin so much.

Also we gave him automotive toys and train toys (Thomas and James from Thomas & Friends) as a birthday present.  He was really delighted with these toys had been playing with them like crazy for a while.

As a memorial to his birthday, we had asked the professional photographer to take photoes of three of us at Bali on last Saturday.  These are very much nice pictures and we think it is worth to pay an additional fees. ;-D

Yep, I come to Bali!

I was worried about the weather because now Jakarta is rainy season and we had a terrible rain last week.  But this is sunny day here, and feel more hot than Jakarta. Best to enjoy swimming in the pool with my kid.

While we enjoy the Bali very much, the way to here was very tough and difficult...Our flight had been delayed almost a day, and my kid felt so bad at the airport.  My wife and I were near to give it up...

But at last, we already forgotten such a thing, are totally enjoying this holiday.  Don't wanna go back to JKT...

(Edit: actually the The flight for going back to Jakarta was also delayed.., we could not undrerstand why they have been delayed so many flights over a couple of days.  Many news related to this has come up this weekend and have told that this was a worst one...)

I live in Mega Kuningan area at south Jakarta.

There are some fancy restaurant including Italian, Chinese, Mexican and also Japanese.

Sometime I go to LOEWY at Oakwood City shopping mall with my family. LOEWY is a casual bistro in Jakarta like they mentioned in their homepage.

“Paris bistro meets New York loft in the 1940’s“

I love the breakfast menu at the restaurant and love the atmosphere of morning on weekends.  Especially I usually order the fresh fuits juice, pan cakes and waffles.  These are really good and my small kid loves these

Think it's worth to try it! ;-D

I love the music of "Tokyo Ska Paradise Orchestra"

They are the Japanese band of Ska/Instrumental music.  In the first place, Ska is the Jamaican music, basically Jamaica is recognized as the birthplace of Ska music.  And Ska is mainly for Brass Band Instrument.

Ska is a music genre that originated in Jamaica in the late 1950s, and was the precursor to rocksteady and reggae. Ska combined elements of Caribbean mento and calypso with American jazz and rhythm and blues. It is characterized by a walking bass line accented with rhythms on the upbeat

Music historians typically divide the history of ska into three periods, and it is said that third wave of ska which involved bands from the UK, Australia, Japan, South America and the US, was happened on the beginning of 1980s and peaking in the 1990s.

I only know about that third wave, one of my old friends taught me about the The Skatalites, he loved them so much and advised me to listen their music.

Personally I think the thing about their attractiveness are;

  • Adult/Matured

  • The live performance has really huge amout of energy

  • Collaboration with other Artist

When the summer season will come to Japan, there will be a lot of music festival across Japan, and they will perform at many stages on this season for sure.

So excited!!

I saw the news on Financial Times, and that is really interesting and cause a stir in the mind of all businessman including me of course.

The news said, the world's second richest man says workers should shift to a three-day work-week.  And also Carlos Slims says that this move would give more time to people so that they could relax and improve their quality of life.

Yes, I do see that point, but the reality is not way I think...

Now, the proposal comes with a catch though, Slim says people should work 11 hours a day and continue working right through to their early 70's.

At last, I just saw the point, and strongly agreed to Slims that we need to switch on and off.

Went to Travel Agency this weekend to book our hotel and flight to Bali.  We were thinking to reserve the popular hotel which is built on the quay, but that hotel is full because of the crowded season of Chinese New Year? not sure...

Anyway we could reserve the Intercontinental Bali, plus graded up to superior room which is called as Club Intercontinental.

I'm really looking forward to go to Bali!! I cannot wait ;-D

This is an interesting read from GIGAZINE about Google's new Project.

グーグルの3Dスキャンプロジェクト「Project Tango」次のステップへ : ギズモード・ジャパン

That's what Google should be.  The new project called "Tango" is about 3D scanning technonogy.  In simple terms, this technology is like pocket-sized 3D scanner.

Because we can scan any 3D data from everything around us, we can utilize this technology for many kind of things like identifying the exact location of product which the customer wants to buy in supermarket.

And Google is now planning to mount this technology to the consumer product as the collaboration with LG.  There is possibilities to have new smartphone or tablet with this technology.

Really looking for this from now.

Do you know about Mt. Fuji in Japan?

It is the tallest mountain in Japan which has 3,776m height, and it is a sort of icon in Japan.

I have ever climbed up to Mt, Fuji once about 10 years ago with some of my friends.  It was, still remeber that day very cleary, really tough and hard for me... The temperature is really cold and had a hard headeche because of high-altitude ilness.

I have ever seen a news which telling that some foreigners climb up only with wearing half pants and sandals, I cannot believe that!!  Even I weared the Gore TEX mountain jacket and trecking shoes, it was really hard...

As it is said that once on shore, play no more, now I think that is very valuable experience and I would like to recommend to try at least once in a life.

I have been playing Basketball over 10 years since when I was in Jr High School.

That means the timing when I was in Jr High School is the same timing wtih when Michael Jordan is back to NBA and won the 3 peat again, and also when the Japanese famous basketball animation "SLAMDUNK" was booming.

Before I came to Jakarta, I used to play basketball once a week, but currently I do not play at all.  Actually I'm looking for the place to play, but there are only a few place I think.

Speaking of Team and Players I love in NBA, Lebron should be the one because he is the one, choosen one.  Believe that he is an all-round player.

As for the Team which I'm looking at, it is NY Knicks because Carmero is in the team, and also Phil and Fisher are in the team as Front.  I have high hopes that the "Triangle Offence" will work in this team again!!

I went to IKEA Indonesia last Sunday with my family.

IKEA Indonesia has been newly opned from October 2014, and is located in the Alam Sutera area where we can go by taxi about half hour.

Actually we were not thinking to buy any furniture, but were thinking to buy the Train toy for my kid.  But we could not find that, (is it because the train is not well developed in this market?... I don't know...) we only bought small book shelf, mini char and big bear doll for Kenshin.

He kept the doll always in his arms and never let away... ;-D
